Grape varieties and style: red dry wine. 100% Syrah. Oak.

Vinification: 12 to18 days fermentation in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature conditions(28° C / 82° F). 9 months ageing in 300 litre (79 gallon) French barrels. Bottle aged for 6 months.

Characteristics: ruby and garnet highlights. Ripe summer blueberry and spices (green pepper) with a very slight touch of hazelnut on the nose. Full and round on the palate with dark fruit and smoky cedar elements. Long, fruit driven finish with firm, chewy tannins.

Food pairings: soups, and pasta with meat based sauce like ragù. Medium and long cured cheeses (for example, “toma”, “fontina”), fondue and red meat.
